Happy 1st anneverary!i dont care how you spell it but its mango and max's first aneversary!I remember one of my first posts on easter last year!

Hi! Ive really gotten into photography. Do you like the pics I took of mango and max?.....Well you should cuz it took me like a hour to wait for them to sit still. Oh and mango....well a few days ago i was on the computer and mum said to go play with them for an hour or so and then...mango bit me! so ive got a bit of a red thumb. P.S. HAPPY EASTER!!!!

Yesterday i was cuddling the bunnies and brushed them and then whatched them jump everywhere. max would hop into the hutch to eat then hop out to play. for the last few days he has been very playful and ACTUALLY GETTING SOME EXERSIZE!

Hi again you should see what the bunnies are getting for christmas they are getting:

Their own HANDMADE stockings (by me)and little bows for their ears

Mango also gets a dangly string that hangs out the front of their hutch and makes them jealous cuz it has carrots on it saying Yo! Mango dude cuz mangos such a dude with a spiky hair do!

Max get his name carved out of leaves. I stickitaped all over the front and also drew pictures of him on the front so now i can tape my art on to the shelves beside their cage (they live outside next to the shed in a hutch)

They both also got carrots and apples

Well those are all the things theyre gettin for christmas BUT they have stockings SO santa might give them prezents.Sorry most of the presents are wrapped but i can show you pictures of them after the bunnies shred then to pieces!

It took us about 8 days to find a new fence for the rabbit pen now they run round it like crazy! They have apples to eat and much more. I even put hay in a basket to make a hay bed! It's so fun to cuddle them up but soon its time for a checkup at the vets! Im going to shout that to the rabbits so they know because if anybody who has seen a rabbit that likes going to the vets clearly dosent know that rabbits HATE going to the vets no matter what. Even if the vet just wants a cuddle his/her eyes will be bawled out in ... let me think........A SECOND!

Boy the rabbits have been up to mischief. They literally watched the 2009 AFL grand final with me. They even had a grooming station, a small open run and the bottom of an indoor cage to play in with warm hay (in the laundry). I even make ones on the trampoline by filling a bowl with water from their bottle and making a fruit salad of apples and carrots (which are gone in seconds naughty bunnys!). They're probably the luckiest bunnies in the world.

Well gotta go!

HHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE -OKAY I'M GETTING CRAZY-LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOO we had to consult a groooooooma(groomer) because Max's fur is hurting cause he came with matted fur from the earlier owners and we couldnt brush it out.

But there's this patch of fur that dosen't have matted fur that is sooooooooooooooooooooo soft and silky and is dark brown and mabye if he gets a shave his fur will end up like the short soft silky type of fur that I found on Max earlier.

I'll get you photos of the patch whenever I have time (whitch kinda means tomorrow sometime.

Hi everybodeee I would like to show you an ordinary day in the life of a rabbit lover well.......here it is............

Woke up at 7 a.m. fed rabbies(rabbits) Then went to school did writing and human body Tryed to make my writing rabbity(like always writing about rabbits). Had lunch. Went to choir. played in playground(thinkin 'bout rabbits). Talked 'bout the heart. went ta music. Had recess(still thinkin 'bout rabbies). Had library then did stuff. went on the bus. Did homework. PLAYED WITH RABBITS (FINALLY)had dinner and went to bed.

Well it was a very intresting day GOODNIGHT. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Bunny Capers

Our adorable rabbits - Mango and Max - are back home after a week long stay with our goddaughter, Isabella.

They are fluffier, fatter, and in great spirits - especially after a jaunt in their new harnesses.

Who'd have thought you could put a rabbit on a leash?

The kids had a ball running after the bunnies as they hopped, lickety split, across the grass in the park next door.

Mango even stopped to dig a little hole, and both stopped to groom and wipe their little paws all over their faces, with the warm sun and cool breeze ruffling their fur.

sorry mums in hospital so i cant get the photos of mango yet max went to get the snip today and we are going to get him from the vet soon hes in a cage next to two dogs!

well mango went to the vet because he had a rip of fur and you could only see his skin.so we went and the vet (Kaz) also found a claw digging in his skin and he took it out he said that max would have to get the snip on friday and then stay at the vet for the day because hes annoying mango by trying to have babies.Mango also got some cream for his mouth.Kaz said that mango is the most best rabbit hes ever seen because he dosent try to escape when hes doing stuff on his 'claw' injury.

Yes the rabbits got a new cage now they want more. Here are some stuff that they want
Max wants:Carrots,Mango to have a baby and their cage to be overflowed with meadow hay
Mango wants:Cabbage,Max to not be able to jump on the shelf to try and have babies and he wants me to have tooth marks from his bites. They just stare at me when they want something mabye because I overflowed the food bowl two days ago hee hee

As you can see Max is lolly licks because he licks me and Mango is spiky hairdo! Max is a lick here lick there lick here lick everywhere rabbit I call him a loppylicker because he is a loppy eared and a licker.Mango is the spiky dude what I do is I bring his ears down like a loppy eared allthough he is a neverland dwarf and a big spike of hair sticks up so I close his ears and then spike it up and walla there you have it a spiky rabbit!

I am a member of the RSPCA club and if you go to the RSPCA website, you can become a member for around $20 a year.

You get a magazine and lots of other toys and stuff. You get a badge, then lots of posters and stuff like 20 ways to help the RSPCA.

I think it's impportant to join because everybody has to care for animals because they are just like us.

There used to be a scratch on the left side of Max's muzzle and now there isn't. As you can see, Max sometimes doesn't get very comfortable when we look at it.

When I grow up, I am going to be a vet. Yes I am very exited. Taking care of pets is my style and Dad said I could get a yellow bird or a budgie for my birthday (or just right now, I could sneak out and buy a budgie AND a yellow and white mix baby bird with my pocket money).

Hmmm I'll keep on trying or wait for my birthday.

Max just had his lip scraped and we didnt know how stressed he was so we took him to the vet. the vet gave him pain killers to kill the pain and anti biodics to stop the swelling and he was fine. the poor thing its just good he didnt have to be put down he is a very sensitive rabbit!!!!!!!

One day when I picked up Mango he was really fat and I only give him one bowl a day! It is just like the episode on the Simpsons where Snowball is fat.

You know moments when you get angry with your pets and they just stare at you? Do you? Well that is just what Mango does.

Is that cheeky little thing stealing food? Well I will find out cuz I have my eyes on you Mango!!!!!!

We just made a pen for the rabbits to play in and the first thing I saw was that they liked it and they ate all the grass in it.

As you should know they are both boys and this connects to the second thing I saw max was trying to have babies with mango! Then I looked at max and said what are you doing? he clattered his teeth. What did you say? I said.

He clattered his teeth again........ Whatiwhatwhatwhat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????????? And that was the end of that I put him down and whispered I have got my eyes on you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Poor Max. When we were playing vets with the rabbits Riley thru him up in the air so I put him back in the cage and he ran into the sheltered area. Then one day Riley was pulling Max's fur to get him out so mum punished him and told him that he can't go near max without me getting him out.

I was talking to max while he was in his cage and when I unlocked the door to give him a soft pat he ran into the sheltered area again shaking with fear I can't BELIEVE Riley was throwing him up in the sky!!!!!Mum thinks he was injured.

I am a member of the RSPCA club and I know very well to not be cruel to animals.Poor wee thing!!!!!!!!!!

One day I was playing with the rabbits and my brother was playing with his car. Then Riley said "Hey Max look at my car!"

In an instant max grabbed the wheel and ran away!!!

When we finally got him we put him on the outside couch and he flung the car of the couch and jumped off and got the car and climbed back up!!!!!!!!! I think he likes it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now this is what I call a fun easter time!!!!!!!!!!

Every morning when I wake up, I get the rabbit food and get the bowl from the rabbits and when I do, they start scratching the door so they can get out to eat. When the bowl is full, Max jumps up and tries to steal food when I'm putting it in the cage. Then they jump on my
knees for more! One day, I came to play and they were fighting to be first to hop out.
They are not d e v e l o p i n g very well. Come on - be friends - share food!!!!!!!!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL the time Riley (my brother) doesn't lock the cage and when I try to get them, the rabbits run into the BUSHES and I have to get them out. Max is so fast. We have a vegi garden with a hedge surrounding it so when they go thru we have to come round and then they go back thru so I have to come round again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish I could say %$*& to them but I love them soooooooooooo much!!

As you see it is Easter time and you can't feed rabbits chocolate.

Now yesterday afternoon after school I came home and got Mango and Max out of the cage and put them on the outside lounge.

Then mum came out with a branch and decorations from Beijing because we used to live there for four years and said "help me decorate this tree "She gave me some decorations and I bobbled one in front of Max and Mango.

And guess what they started EATING the decorations I think they want chocolate.After they licked all the salt out of my hand!(Mango bit me!!!!!!!!)

Introducing Mango and Max!

First of all Mango. As you can see, Mango is white and likes biting and scratching. And Max is, yes, brown. And you can see that he loves eating leaves, carrots and he nearly eats everything in the food bowl. He escapes a lot. Mango's normally in the cage, even though the door is left open by Riley my brother.I am 8 and I live in
canberra.

There rabbits are what I'm going to be talking about in my blog.
